Another Day in the Park

In order to ward off laziness and becoming too much of a homebody, I loaded up the bicycle for another ride along the Trinity River on the Trinity Trail.  This time the adventure took me on the portion behind the Tarrant County College - Trinity River Campus.  For three years I attended this school, and would often ride along this portion of the trail.  However, it never gets old to enjoy God's Creation, regardless of how many times I've ridden and encountered the same stretch of trail.  Toward the end of the ride, I began to see others enjoying the same scenery as myself, but I'm sure with a different perspective and experience.  Of course I took a lot of pictures with my camera.  A few will be uploaded at the conclusion of the blog entry.  Fort Worth is beginning to remind me a lot of Austin in regard to bicycling opportunities: trails, dedicated bicycle lanes on city streets, and organizations offering group rides with the resulting benefit of fellowship.  One of these days my goal is to purchase a road bicycle to complement the mountain bicycle I currently own.  Until then, I'll have to make due with what I have.  This is great weather to get out for a ride to enjoy the beautiful earth.  Don't get stuck in neutral, allowing these chances to pass you by.  Get a bicycle and enjoy the exercise and fresh air.
