A Day in the Life - Thoughtful Reflections

Typically I am a morning person who finds his most productive time in the wee hours of the day.  Today is no different as I woke up early eager to start my day.  There were quite a few chores, mostly odds and ends, on the agenda (daily planner).  Now I am at the point of the day I am ready to leave the apartment for a few errands, mainly to exercise at the gym.  While out and about, I will check on finding a phone charger to revive my dead phone.  One reflection I'm pondering is the success of No-Shave November.  The beard I have grown isn't as full as desired, but I am pleased at its growth considering the six weeks I've allowed it to run its course.  I only say this to provide notice of its impending doom.  Yes, today is the day I shave it off.  Attempting to grow a beard has been novel, but I do prefer a clean shaven face.  Another reflection is of the memorial service (funeral) I will attend Austin on Sunday.  Both my maternal uncle and grandmother passed away roughly a week or two ago.  I must prepare for the trip by tying up a bunch of loose ends before departing early Sunday morning.  There isn't much telling how the remainder of the day will turn out, but more than likely it will be much of the same, a usual routine of sorts.  This evening I am scheduled to work at the smoke shop from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Hopefully business will be good so the time will pass by quickly.  Times of reflection are good and healthy, so I'm glad a portion of time has been set aside to assess my day.  Have a great day!
