Buffalo Bros.

The campus of Texas Christian University is located in Fort Worth, making the area very much a college town.  The environment surrounding the university thrives with places to shop and eat, establishments geared toward the age group of the average college student.  This is indicative of most college towns and the corresponding campus.  One such place is Buffalo Bros.  For me, it is reminiscent of a pizza and wings style restaurant you would find in or around the UT Austin campus.  (A back-handed compliment of sorts, considering I do not have a very high regard for TCU or the quality of their education.)  Every week on Tuesday afternoon, my friend and I meet there at 3 p.m. for a time of fellowship and a smoke.  He passionately smokes his pipes, while I pull out my usual stogie (cigar), a Romeo by Romeo y Julieta.  The servers are friendly and very attentive to the needs of the patron(s).  Usually we sit on the patio located in the rear of the restaurant, which looks out on to the small parking lot shared by Buffalo Bros. and the other surrounding eateries.  After a few hours of conversation, both serious and humorous, we call it an evening and quickly make a date for another meeting next Tuesday.  All in all, I enjoy Buffalo Bros. and the atmosphere it promotes.  In addition, I believe they have the best pizza in Fort Worth.  I should know as much as I love a good pie.  The restaurant is located on University Drive just north of the Berry Street intersection.  Try it out, I can almost guarantee you will like it.
