Ever Thankful!

Today was the end of the work week for me, thank you God!  After picking up my vehicle from the mechanic, I immediately headed to the last store I had to service.  After six hours, I was finished.  Unfortunately, this also meant I was two and a half hours late for my shift at the cigar shop.  Later on this week I'll make up for the time I was late.  Whew!  The first week of my new schedule was interesting.  Next week I'll have more of a handle on it now that I know what to expect.  In addition, I hopefully won't have any more difficulty in regard to vehicular failure.  Thankfully, all I needed was a new alternator.  While I had it in the shop, I also had an oil change and a few other minor issues addressed.  As I write this post, I am thinking ahead to two glorious days off.  Sunday I am scheduled off from both jobs, and on Monday I will only have to work at Tobacco Lane on the Square.  I'm tired!  Of course I'll have to run a few errands, as well as to perform a chore or two, but I can relax and re-coup.  Plus, I can have a chance to read my book, which I haven't done in the previous few days.  I will enjoy the new schedule once I fully transition to solely scanning Kroger's stores.  As I think about it all, I am blessed.  Good night!
