Religious Freedom Day
Religious Freedom: The ability to believe and practice one's religion without persecution, and the right to express one's belief in the public square. The world I now live in is politically charged with the foolish idea of social correctness. People, however many, seem scared to experience someone or something that is starkly different than the core values they hold. The citizenry is pushed to remove their faith from public view by the prohibition of wearing religious shirts and jewelry, barring nativity scenes on the courthouse lawn, praying in public, and so on. Even the Pledge of Allegiance has been attacked for the phrase under God. I believe the people who are opposing freedom of religion are in the minority. Their hatred of and disbelief in God are ruining it for everyone else. Do the atheists and agnostics feel that threatened? A point in time will come when Christianity will become illegal, if you believe in the Bible and what it predicts for the end times. For now, religious freedom is still enjoyed to some degree, but it will continue to diminish and finally become extinct.
