Half Price Book Barn

**Warning: This establishment is not to become confused with the Half Price Book chain.**

Now that the formalities are over, I must showcase the best book store in Fort Worth.  It is truly a hidden gem, as it probably doesn't get as much notoriety without the good old-fashioned word of mouth advertisement the patrons give it.  I don't frequent this place very much, but when I do, I literally could spend all day looking at the inventory.  The proprietor claims there is rhyme and reason to the lay-out of the store, but I challenge their statement.  That's why it is so easy for me to get lost in the other-worldliness of the store's ambiance.  It's not that one section of the shelving seamlessly feeds in to another, it is simply I don't want to leave any stack un-turned for the off-chance I may miss that one book I absolutely cannot live without.  Today I thought there was a slight chance I could make a two-for-one swap on some books a friend gave me, but no such luck.  At any rate, I did look around for a few moments to see if anything new and different had arrived.  This place is an abundant treasure of just about anything and everything anyone could ever want in a bookstore.  It is for me at least.  The next time you are in Fort Worth, don't pass up on this unique place.  Even if you know about it, the location may be difficult to find as it almost hides in plain sight.  Until my next visit, my hat is off in honor of this wonderful experience waiting to happen.
