24 Hour Fitness

Ask anyone what their New Year's resolutions are, and more than likely the first thing out of their mouth is to either lose weight or exercise.  To some degree, I am guilty of that same sentiment, but with a twist.  My resolution is to exercise more consistently at the gym, to make it a priority in other words.  Of course life happens with job(s), travelling, and poor physical health, but nothing else should come between exercising and living as fit as possible.  Almost since the day I moved to Fort Worth, I have had a membership with 24 Hour Fitness, a gym with several convenient locations.  (No opportunity for excuse there.)  Last year was sketchy in regard to attendance, but I didn't do too terribly bad before I fizzled out entirely.  With the incarnation of a brand new year, I will strive for a better fit and more healthy me.  Yes, this does include eating better.  One activity I haven't participated in for quite a while at the gym is the indoor cycling (spinning) class.  Once I get back in to the groove of exercising, I may make plans to pick this up again.  Earlier this afternoon, I sent a phone message to a friend asking he was making plans to exercise this afternoon.  We met at three o'clock, and proceeded to encourage one another in our drive for better physical health.  Hopefully we will keep holding one another accountable in this area of our lives.  Let's see how well I do.  Until then, what are your resolutions for 2017?  Is it to exercise, eat better, and to lose weight?  Good luck and resolve to keep your goals alive.
