Week In Review

Wow, what a week!  Even though I work for TNG, my schedule follows the Kroger's four-week cycle.  This means I had a full week implementing the new frontline and pharmacy marketing material for all nine of my stores.  In addition, I filled in at two Kroger's stores in Mansfield, Texas, in a neighboring supervisor's district.  Considering the size of the stores, along with their unfamiliarity on my part, I fared very well.  Both stores took a little over nine hours to scan for manager compliance.  I didn't think that was bad at all.  As a result of the physical beating I took this week, I was exhausted.  As soon as my head hit the pillow last night, I was sound asleep.  The other stress I experienced this week is in dealing with an issue concerning the vehicle I currently drive.  There is some sort of fluid leak in the engine causing significant smoke.  This could be something as minor as oil dripping on the manifold.  Let's hope the problem is something that small and will result in an easy, inexpensive repair.  Tomorrow morning I will have to take the vehicle in to the mechanic.  Today I have absolutely nothing planned except to read, relax, and to wash laundry.  The weather is too nasty anyway to get out for any type of personal pleasure.  I don't enjoy getting out in the rain.  But that's okay as this makes for great reading and hot tea weather.  This is certainly a great way to re-coup from such a strenuous week.  Happy Sunday, and cheers to a great beginning for a new month!
