National Wear Red Day

My time has come as there is a day devoted to my favorite color red.  According to a Google search on the color, I discovered red is considered a warm, positive color associated with our most physical needs and will to survive.  It is energizing; exciting the emotions and motivating us to action.  It is the color of physical movement.  As if the color red was a living, breathing entity, it is considered strong-willed, capable of providing confidence to those who are shy or lacking in will power.  Several more Google searches on the subject brought forth other interesting characteristics on the color and people whose particular favorite is red.  Red is a personality color, it identifies an individual as extroverted, optimistic, courageous, and confident.  People whose favorite color is red, also have such characteristics as a pioneering spirit and leadership qualities.  The dark side of this temperament is "red" people can be aggressive and easy to anger, often giving in to a violent temper.  This type of person can flare up instantaneously but calm down quite quickly once the momentary passion is out of his/her system.  Lastly, "red" people tend toward an over-active ego and appear overly confident with a super-inflated sense of personal worth.  There is quite a bit of information I found on the internet concerning the color.  I encourage all my readers to search for such information on the color red and the meaning behind it.  Of course I will wear red today in honor of my favorite color.
