Awash with Blessings Abundant

The glorious day off began at 4:30 this morning when God afforded me another day of wonderful life with breath in my nostrils.  Ready to start my day, I promptly got up to see what lay ahead.  Today was so productive, and I owe all glory and praise to my Father God in Heaven.  His provision is more than enough and occurs in His perfect timing.  Early voting in the Texas primaries began last Friday, but I wasn't able to take part until this morning.  Polls didn't open until eight o'clock, so I sat at Buon Girono, a coffee shop, from roughly 6:40 a.m. till a few minutes of 8 a.m.  The coffee was awesome, and I was also able to perform some reading out of February's issue of Texas Highways magazine.  Then it was off to an auto upholstery shop to have the arm console reupholstered.  Afterward, I travelled to a tailor shop to have a zipper replaced in my favorite black, Glorieta Conference Center jacket.  This coat is very sentimental to me, and I acquired it free of charge when I worked out there in the mid-1990s.  Once finished with that task, I shopped for a new toilet seat at The Home Depot.  All of these items on my to-do list may seem trivial, but, for a person who has been under-employed for so long, having the disposable income to finally take care of these things has been such a blessing.  I am so thankful for God's provision and bounty.  Today wasn't all work as I was able to hang out at Paladin cigar shop for a little over an hour.  Time with friends is always sweet fellowship.  I'll have to make it a point to swing by more often.  Once at the apartment, I took time for some praise and worship of Almighty God, from whom all blessings flow.  My prayer is for continued faithful obedience even when times aren't so glamorous.  What good is faith in a Living God when I only trust and serve Him when life is on the up and up?  In all seasons of life, may my life point those around me to Jehovah God.
