Happy New Year!

Another year has arrived without much fanfare.  Out with the old and in with the new.  Other people may have celebrated, but I was in bed by eight o'clock on New Year's Eve.  I guess this is due to getting older and not having any invites for the evening.  For some reason, I haven't heard many people talk about resolutions for 2019.  Personally, I quit making resolutions years ago.  As a born-again believer in Jesus, I have the freedom to start over each and every day, not simply at the New Year.  Even though I don't make resolutions in the traditional sense, I would like to see for myself less idleness and procrastination.  There are goals and projects I could work on: hobbies, genealogy, and so much more.  Maybe I can work on these a little bit at a time to insure forward movement.  What are your goals for today and the new year?  Remember, each day is a new day.  You don't have to wait for a new year.  Many blessings!
