From Hero to Zero

At about 10:45 a.m., I was summarily fired from my employment with Johnston & Murphy.  Another job lost again.  Regardless of how justified I feel in how I behaved, I'm not completely innocent in what transpired.  There is always the part I play in anything that happens in life...I must take responsibility for my own actions.  The primary frustration was with the offer of full-time status the company presented.  As long as the process took, the perception seemed as if the company was taking their sweet time.  In other words, they were dragging their feet on the issue with no intentions to deliver the goods promised.  Stuff like this shouldn't be that difficult.  Personally, I would rather the powers that be simply tell me to go take a hike instead of playing me for a fool.  Of course there were other factors in play, but that was the linchpin to the whole ordeal.  I was devastated!  This job was one in which I saw a potential ca...

Ten Things I Miss About Houston
